I’m Dani. I live in Yokneam Illit, Israel, with my wife Karin, our cute baby daughter Tamar and Piccolo – our dog.
I love science, love hiking and camping, love life!
I finished my 2 B.Sc. degrees (materials science and chemistry) at 2012, both from Technion.
During my studies, I worked as a research assistant in the foundry laboratory, dealing with casting technologies for alloys and MMCs. After graduating, I moved to the surface laboratory where I deal mainly with corrosion and materials laser processing.
I’m now doing my M.Sc. degree under the supervision of Distinguished Prof. Dan Shechtman, 2011 Nobel Prize winner for chemistry. Together we develop bio-degradable alloys for medical applications.
I’m promoting and leading several research programs in national and international cooperation’s, mainly with industries (including EU CRM-EXTREME COST action, IMS TAS-AM cluster, etc.).
