Just a few months after the initial collaboration between Kanfit3D and the Technion – Israel Institute of Metals (IIM), which resulted with the first 3D-printed Nitinol shape-memory alloy structures, we are happy to report that we have passed the first evaluation stage of a new M.era-Net European Commission project for additive manufacturing of elastocaloric-cooling devices based on Nitinol in a joint program with groups from Germany and Lithuania. Kanfit3D and the Technion-IIM are open to teaming up with other companies in the field of additive manufacturing of nitinol devices for application in the medical, aerospace and other industries
